General Temperature Range: -40°F to +400° F
Advantages:
- Excellent chemical and oil resistance
- Excellent high temperature
- Fair dry running
- Resistance to wide range of oils and solvents; specially all aliphatic, aromatic and halogenated hydrocarbons, acids, animal and vegetable oils.
Disadvantages:
- High relative cost
- Difficult to process
- Poor cold followability
- Not recommended for ketones, low molecular weight esters and nitro containing compounds.
Applications:
- Automotive fuel handling
- Aircraft engine seals
- High temperature applications requiring good compression set performance
- General industrial seals and gaskets
